牛津城(Oxford)
牛津拥有世界上最著名和最美丽的大学之一ldquo;牛津大学rdquo;，其闻名于世的历史和令人惊叹的建筑吸引了来自世界各个地方的学生和游客。
牛津大学不同于其它的大学，城市与大学融为一体，街道就从校园穿过。大学不仅没有校门和围墙，而且连正式招牌也没有。我们凝神在一所所古老的学院里，只见石凳上长满青苔，不大的校院内平铺着只允许教授才能踩踏的精美草坪，四周分布着具有辉煌的历史、神话般的建筑。我们登上圣玛丽教堂的塔楼放眼四望，整座牛津城悠然横卧在一片英式田园之中，分不出哪里是城市,哪里是大学。难怪，牛津被称作ldquo;大学中有城市rdquo;。

牛津城的建筑古色古香，分属于不同历史年代的不同建筑流派。在牛津街道上散步，不就像回到了历史之中吗？这风情万种的建筑，这云飞浪卷的校园，这几百年积淀的斑斓文化。
英国人把牛津当做一种传统，一种象征，一种怀恋和一种追寻。在那里可以回忆起过去的美好时光，可以重温昔日的辉煌。市内有圣迈克尔教堂的萨克森人塔楼，诺曼人碉堡和城墙遗址等等，处处给人以历史的纵深感。牛津大学没有一个中央校区，她的39个学院散落在城市中心。一些学院早于13世纪建立，而有的则非常现代。牛津距离伦敦仅80分钟的路程，离Cotswolds,Stratford,Bath等小镇和乡村也很近。

Oxford has one of the most famous and the most beautiful university in the world, quot;Oxford Universityquot;. Its famous history and stunning architecture attract students and tourists from all parts of the world.
Oxford University is different from other universities. The city and the university integrate together. The street across from the campus. There is no gates or walls, but even the official signs. We breath in one of the oldest college, seeing a stone bench covered with moss, the beautifu lawn only allowing professors to stampede tiled in the small courtyard of the school l, surrounded by the distribution of the glorious history, fabulous architectures . We board the St. Mary’s church tower and look around, the whole city of Oxford lies among the English countryside leisurely.we can not tell the city is or the university. No wonder, Oxford is known as the quot;University in the City.quot;
